QuorumEx Founders

Dr. John McAfee - President & CEO - the founder of McAfee Anti-virus, Tribal Voice, and several other ventures, founded QuorumEx in order to re-invent the way modern medicine combats and disarms pathogenic bacteria.   Through his efforts, Quorumex has identified numerous new plant compounds that inhibit qs signaling and provide promise for new anti-quorum sensing medicines.

Dr. Giovanni Solorzano - Chief Researcher - is heading the clinical trials program of our Quorum Quenching anti-infectant products. A medical doctor and professor with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Solorzano was formerly the Quality Assurance Physician for Karl Heussner Memorial Hospital, the largest National Referral Hospital in the country of Belize. Trained in Guatemala City and elected President of the Belize Medical and Dental Association, Dr. Solorzano complements QuorumEx with his tropical expertise and vast medical research background.

QuorumEx Facilities

In the summer of 2010, QuorumEx moved its laboratory facilities from San Ignacio, Belize to our alpha production facility near Orange Walk.  We expect to begin production of our Topic-QX product in the near future and to have more product announcements soon.

A large percentage of our work is done in the field.  We have extensive greenhouse facilities on the island of Ambergris, and field stations along the banks of the New River in central Belize.
